Form-Animation

Animation is the quick display of a sequence of images of 2-D or 3-D artwork or model positions to create an illusion of movement. The effect is an optical illusion of motion due to the   persistence of vision, and can be created and demonstrated in several ways. The most common method of presenting animation is as a motion picture or video program, although there are other methods. They use it persuasivly on childrens adverts, for example the coco pops advert appeals to children/kids because they can relate to cartoons more because thats what they watch.

Animation obviously appeals to the more child audiance because thats what you watch when your a kid so if your selling an item for a target audiance of 3-10 yeatr olds and play it in animation , kids will understand it more. Also kids have an imagenary mind so exaggeration and animation would be a persuasive technique.
